Victoria's largest participation event is set to return for the 26th installment from January – March 2018.
The Vic Four-Ball championship is open to all golfers in Victoria who are members of affiliated clubs and have a handicap. The championship involves men’s, women’s and mixed sections and is played in two parts: qualifying events and a State final.
Each qualifier includes a catered lunch, a gift pack for all players, prizes and 18 holes of golf.
Qualifying events in 2018 will be categorised as Metropolitan (M) qualifiers, Peninsula (P) qualifiers and Regional (R) qualifiers.
Pairs will again be able to enter as many Regional qualifiers as they wish with the field decided by first in first best process. Entries will close for Regional (R) qualifying rounds 10 days prior or when a capacity field has been reached.
For Metropolitan and Peninsula qualifiers, pairs will nominate their preferred venues through the online registration process and Golf Victoria will endeavour to allocate pairs according to preference as closely as possible. Entries close for the Metropolitan & Peninsula qualifying rounds at 5:00pm on Friday 8 December 2017. Venue allocations will be available online after Thursday 14 December 2017 and any venues with vacancies will be re-opened for entry.

**NOTE TO FINALISTS** – Due to a limited amount of carts at Sorrento Golf Club – players are requested to send a medical certificate to tim.witherow@golfvic.org.au in order to reserve a cart for round 1 of the State Final.
