Vics to battle QLD for Boys’ Interstate Title

Victoria and Queensland will battle it out for the Australian Boys’ Interstate Teams Matches title when they go head to head in the final round at Bunbury Golf Club on Thursday.

The Victorians defeated New South Wales 3-2 in the fifth round before beating the Australian Capital Territory boys 5-0 in the penultimate round while Queensland accounted for Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

New South Wales is in third place and plays the home state Western Australia on Thursday.

South Australia is in fourth place and Western Australia is in fifth.

Tasmania, the ACT and the Northern Territory round out the leaderboard.

The final round takes place on Thursday.
