A strong field of 70 juniors gathered this morning at The National Golf Club at Long Island in pursuit of this year’s Victorian Junior Club Teams Event.

It was the team from Victoria Golf Club who took out the title for 2018 with their team of Sara Hidayat, Lucy Neasmith, Sophie Miles and Sayumi De Costa finishing on +12.

The stars for Victoria were Neasmith and Hidayat who both finished on fantastic scores of +6.

The runners-up prize went to one of the teams representing Mornington.

They were lead by Tobey Sykes on +6 but were also assisted well by his teammates in Ben Bradley, Cooper Marriott and Ben Tincknell.

Third place went to  the team from The National.

Despite only having three team members, all three produced great scores to finish on +6.

The team consisted of Jani Goutsiaris, Woody Aldridge and Charles Anderson

A total of 18 teams gathered with players ranging from all handicaps.

Thanks must go out to The National Golf Club at Long Island for their wonderful hospitality and the fantastic condition the course was presented in.
