Victorian Golf Industry Awards night

Victoria is gearing up for its annual Golf Industry Awards dinner, which promises to be bigger and better in 2016.

The Victorian Golf Industry Awards is an annual celebration of the people and organisations who have made significant achievements and contributions to the sport throughout the year, as well as being a general celebration of golf across the state of Victoria.

In 2016, this prestigious event makes its return to home of the Victorian PGA Championship, Huntingdale Golf Club, for the second consecutive year.

Victorian Premier, The Hon. Daniel Andrews, will be guest speaker while comedian and golf tragic, Andy Lee, will entertain guests with stories of his golfing prowess.

As a joint initiative between the PGA of Australia, Golf Victoria and Golf Management Victoria, dinners such as these showcase the strong working relationship that exists between the various industry associations and aims to achieve better outcomes for our game.

The night, which also includes our Hall of Fame inductions and Victorian PGA Trainee Graduation, will see eight new industry members enter the Victorian Golf Hall of Fame:

·      Don Lawrence

·      Bill Meader

·      Alex Russell

·      Sloan Morpeth

·      Tony Charlton

·      Mick Morcom

·      Sandra McCaw

·      Eric Routley

Together with our Trainees, our new Hall of Fame inductees will have the opportunity to celebrate their time in the industry; sharing their achievements with family, friends and peers.
