Breanna Elliott has continued her recent dominance on national selection events by taking the first round lead at Glenelg G.C in the 54-hole Rene Erichsen Salver. Elliott Carded (+1) 73 to lead by one from 2011 Australian Amateur Champion Ashlee Dewhurst and current World Number 23 Whitney Hillier.
Other notable Victorians are Grace Lennon and Tilly Thompson who sit in 4th position after both posting scores +3 over par(75).
In the Men’s SA Classic, Dimitrios Papadatos from NSW fired a 4 under par score of 67 to take the lead after the first round. While the best placed Victorian is Travis Sharpe who shot a round of 71 to sit in T-6th position. Also close to the top of the leaderboard are 2012 State Team members Rory Bourke, Todd Sinnott and James McMillan who all posted rounds of 73.
