VIDEO: Final round highlights from Myanmar Open

Maiden professional wins are always special, but Myanmar will hold an even more special place in the heart of Todd Sinnott.

Not only did the young Victorian cash in on his sparkling new Asian Tour card with a remarkable three-stroke victory at Pun Hlaing Golf Club in in Yangon, he also pocketed playing rights on the lucrative Japan Golf Tour for two seasons in the co-sanctioned event.

His victory also will help him gain starts in co-sanctioned European Tour events later in the season.

Just two weeks after finishing runner- up to fellow Melburnian Richard Green in the Asian Tour Q-school, the world has turned quickly for Sinnott.

"I needed to get out of Australia and try to progress up the tours," the Golf Australia rookie squad member said.

"This will certainly help that."
