At the 2016 Emirates Australian Open, we met a 4-year-old golf-obsessed boy, who caused quite a stir with his swing, skills and personality. His subsequent starring role in ‘MyGolf Presents…’ is still inspiring kids around Australia to take up golf.
Little did we know that less than a year after we met him, little Isaac Riches would be travelling to New York City to star on the Jimmy Fallon Show with Jason Day and Jordan Spieth!
In the lead up to the Presidents Cup, Isaac teamed up with Madison Moman (10) and Aiden Dinani (8) to defeat two of his heroes and show host Jimmy Fallon in a Skee-Ball challenge! He then went on to help Jason read some putts during a practice round at Liberty National. It really was the trip of a lifetime.
Isaac and his dad are now back in Armidale (NSW), where they helped get a local MyGolf program off the ground last year – but we know Jordan, Jason and the MyGolf team are all very excited about seeing Isaac again at the 2017 Emirates Australian Open at The Australian Golf Club next month.
