Karrie Webb came from behind to sensationally win a record eighth Australian Ladies Masters title on Sunday. Webb, who was two strokes off the lead heading into the final round, posted a bogey-free five-under 67 at Royal Pines on the Gold Coast to secure the title at 13 under. The 38-year-old Australian carded just one birdie on the first 11 holes before surging up the leaderboard with four birdies on the following six holes. Webb, who first won the event in 1998 and more recently in 2010, became the first woman in history to claim eight tour wins at the same tournament. Overnight leaders Su-Hyun Oh and Ariya Jutanugarn were left to rue final rounds of 71 and finished in equal second alongside South Korea&aposs Chella Choi at 11 under. Oh, the 16-year-old amateur from Victoria, recorded a mixed round of seven birdies, four bogeys and one double bogey, while Thailand&aposs Jutanugarn carded three birdies and two bogeys. America&aposs Jessica Korda claimed outright fifth at 10 under, followed by local hope Stacey Keating, who was a further shot behind in sixth overall. Sweden&aposs Pernilla Lindberg and American Dori Carter ended in a tie for seventh at seven under, while South Korean So Yeon Ryu was a further shot adrift in outright ninth. American Alison Walshe slipped to 10th overall at five under on the back of a disappointing 74.
