Spain&aposs Beatriz Recari moved to the top of the Kia Classic leaderboard in California, but Australia&aposs Karrie Webb is just one shot back. Recari carded a five-under 67 to go a shot clear of American Paula Creamer and Webb, who are tied for second on seven-under overall at the Aviara Golf Club. IK Kim of South Korea matched Recari&aposs five-under round to be tied for fourth on six under with Americans Cristie Kerr and Jane Park, as well as compatriots Park Inbee and Kang Haeji. Lizette Salas, of the US, and Sweden&aposs Caroline Hedwall round out the top 10 on five under, while another American – world number one Stacy Lewis – is poised to challenge on the weekend as she is tied for 11th on four under – four from Recari. Recari – a previous winner on the LPGA Tour in 2010 – has gone bogey free through her first 36 holes at Carlsbad. Three straight birdies from nine to 11 buoyed her scorecard, before she finished solidly with seven straight pars. She is being stalked by a 38-time LPGA winner, Webb, who is also hunting her first title on the American tour since winning the Founders Cup in March 2011. Creamer meanwhile, who has nine LPGA titles to her name, has collected just one since October 2008, the US Women&aposs Open in 2010.
