Webb still close in France

World number three Stacy Lewis carded a three-under 69 in the second round of the Evian Masters to hold on to her overnight lead, while Australia&aposs Karrie Webb is still in contention. Lewis&apos second-round score left her at 12 under for the tournament, one stroke ahead of South Korea&aposs Lee Il Hee. Having equalled the course record in the opening round, Lewis maintained her momentum to move to three under after seven holes in her second round. The 27-year-old American birdied the fourth hole and then eagled the par-five seventh. But after a good front nine, Lewis failed to gain any more ground with two bogeys followed by a pair of birdies on the run back to the clubhouse. Lee stormed in to second on the leaderboard with four straight birdies on the back nine to card a five-under 67 and move to 11 under overall. She has a two-shot lead over the USA&aposs Paula Creamer, who also posted a 67 on Friday, and Park Inbee. Park hit eight birdies on her way to a second-round 64. Japan&aposs Mika Miyazato is a shot behind Park and Creamer on eight under, one stroke ahead of Korean amateur Kim Hyo-Joo, Beatriz Recari of Spain and Park Hee Young of Korea. Webb is tied for 14th at five under, while fellow Australians Lindsey Wright and Katherine Hull are a further two strokes back. World number one Yani Tseng missed the cut at the after finishing on three over. Click for LIVE SCORES
