The final day of the Women's Mountain Meeting was held at Blackheath Golf Club with over 110 starters teeing up for the day. The event was a teams v par event with one score to count.

Wednesday 17 October

In trying conditions the ladies managed to finish their round for the 18-holes foursomes event at Wentworth Falls Country Club.

Division one nett winners were Patty Dyson of Chatswood and Avondale's Jill Gates with 76 nett. Runners up were Manly's Jeannette Jordan and Cynthia Merrett with 77 nett on a countback from Kerrie Robinson and Jan Steel from Chatswood GC. Scratch winners were Lakeside's Lexi Pitt and Karen Wagg with 99 off the stick on a countback from Jan Heys and Lyn Manning from Bankstown GC.

Nett winners in division two with a 74 ½ nett were Tracey Lindsay and Jannine Smith of Lynwood. Runners up on 77 nett were Lesley Aston and Kathleen Turner from Kareela. Scratch winners were Anne Allsopp and Kay Inglis from Chatswood with 110 on a countback from Wakehurst's Jennifer Abbott and Deborah Gowenlock.

Tomorrow's event is a Teams V Par event being held at Blackheath GC with an 8.30am shotgun start.

Tuesday 16 October

 

The Yallambee Cup was won by Julie Swanson of Pacific Dunes with rounds of 83 and 86 for a total of 169. Cammeray's Kathy Scott won the 36-hole nett event with 152 nett, three shots ahead of runner up Vickie Smith of Windsor CC.
 
Lynwood's Robyn Keyvar won the Blue Mountain Salver for division two with steady rounds of 35 points both days, a total of 70. Keyvar was eight points clear of runner up Elaine Scullion-Stewart of Leura on 62 points.

Monday 15 October

Leading the chase for the Yallambee Cup is Julie Swanson of Pacific Dunes with a score of 83, following Swanson on 93 is Deb Northwood of Lynwood. Division one nett leader after day one is Anne Allsopp from Chatswood with a score of 72, Judith Shade of Woolooware is one shot behind on 73.
 
Leura's Elaine Scullion-Stewart had an impresive 37 points to be leading division two after round one. Two points behind on 35 is Avalon's Heather Crutch and Robyn Keyvar of Lynwood.
 
Tomorrow's round is being played at Leura Golf Club with players commencing at 9.00am.

 

Sunday 14 October

Over one hundred and thirty ladies have travelled to the Blue Mountains to tee it up for the 2018 Women's Mountain Meeting being held at Lithgow, Leura, Wentworth Falls and Blackheath Golf Clubs. 

The event is open to female amateurs who hold a current Australian or overseas equivalent handicap and are a member of a Golf NSW Country Golf Club.  It is held over four days, across a number of courses in the Blue Mountains Region.

The format is stroke play over 36-holes, 18-holes on day one, and 18-holes on day two (played in three divisions), followed by 18-holes foursomes on day three, and best ball teams v par on day four.
