2014 Women's NSW Metropolitan Bronze Medal Winner – Lyn Nethercote (Fox Hills)

The Bronze Medal Play Off qualifiers had a day of beautiful weather today at Bayview Golf Club for their round. The best score of the day was from Lyn Nethercote (Fox Hills) with a score of 68 off a handicap of 36, which made her the 2014 Metropolitan NSW Bronze Medal Winner. Coming in second in the Metropolitan competition was Vicki Hinkelbein (Bankstown) with 72 nett off 36. In third place was Mary Phipps (Balgowlah) with 73 nett off 39. Taking out the scratch prize for the Metropolitan competition was the Warringah qualifier, Robyn Gidley with a scratch score of 106. In the country competition the winner of the Bronze Medal was Maggie Simmons (Gerringong) with 69 nett off a handicap of 34. In second place from Shelly Beach was Pamela Johnston with 71 on a count back. Coming in third was Jenny Munro (Dubbo) who also had 71 off a handicap of 33. Winning the scratch prize for the Country competition was Kim Hamilton (Forster-Tuncurry) with 105 off the stick.
