There was a big turn around in the weather over the past 24 hours to deliver exceptional conditions at Eastlake Golf Club for the 2013 Women’s NSW Bronze Medal Playoff. The course was in great condition with Eastlake being a difficult test for all competitors. Metropolitan Results The Metropolitan Bronze Medal was awarded to joint winners with a nett score of 70, Susi Colussi from Cumberland Country Club (24) and Narelle Owen from Woolooware Golf Club (41). Coming in third from The Coast Golf Club was Sandra Langford (32) with a score of 71. Susi had an extremely successful day also taking out the scratch event with a score of 94. Country Results Taking out the Country Bronze Medal was Rowena Meldrum (34) from Club Taree with a great score of 73. Coming in second with 77 was Pauline Terry (38) from Muree Golf Club. In third place was Frances Thornton (32) from Wollongong Golf Club. Taking out the Country scratch prize was Sarah Wilcox (22) from Wauchope Golf Club with a gross score of 103. There are 84 women due to contest the 2013 Women&aposs NSW Bronze Medal Play Off, incorporating the NSW Metropolitan Bronze Medal and the NSW Country Bronze Medal on Tuesday 19 November 2013. Draw and Player Information To be eligible to compete in the Golf NSW Women’s Bronze Medal play-off a player must have entered the 2013 Golf NSW Women’s Medal Competition and won a Division 3 Medal at club level. The winner of a Division 3 Medal is the player returning the lowest net aggregate of three scores at the end of the six specified club stroke rounds. The Silver Medal is the Division 3 Medal and the handicap limit is 33 to 45. A range of prizes will be awarded, including:
