Avondale stayed on top of Pool One of Division One Metropolitan Women's Pennant after a resounding 4 1/2 to 1/2 win over St. Michael's Golf Club on Sunday.
In a one-sided affair,the Northern Suburbs outfit had it all their own way, with big wins coming from Bella Kil recording a 5&4 win over Pamela Tsiamis and Felicity Wittenberg accounting for Madeleine Nurdi 3&1.
In the other pool game, Concord and The Australian battled away to a 2 1/2 match all draw, with Golf NSW Team mates Doey Choi and Celina Yuan unable to be separated after 18 holes, with their match finishing all square.
In Pool two of Division One, The Lakes made it four wins from as many tries with a resounding 3 1/2 matches to 1 1/2 victory of Bonnie Doon. Chizuru Ueda reversed last week's loss to the 'Doons Sophie Cusack with a 3&2 victory. Also impressive for the Lakes outfit was Xanthe Macklinshaw who walked away as a 4&3 winner over Felicity Goodall.
In the remaining pool game, Cabramatta took the soils with a 3 matches to 2 win at home over NSW. Cabramatta's Angela Nance a standout for the Western Sydney side with a 5&3 win over Gemma Dooley.
In Divison Two pennant, Castle Hill also kept their unbeaten run intact with a 3 matches to 2 win over Penrith. Vicki Gale was too strong for Yuka Lin 3&2. Royal Sydney defeated Stonecutters Ridge 4 matches to 1, with Suzanne Bath impressive, winning 5&4 over Mercedes Bolton.
Castle Hill lead the pool on the maximum 4 points from Stonecutters Ridge.
Pool 2 in Divison Two is a much tighter affair with Ryde-Parramatta just a half a point in front of Cumberland and North Ryde.
Ryde-Parramatta were unable to take the win at home against Cronulla, eventually settling for the half, while North Ryde gave themselves a glimmer of hope with a 3 1/2 matches to 1 1/2 win against Cumberland at home.
A standout for North Ryde was Lorraine Taylor with a whopping 8&7 win over her opponent Tracey Hilton.
