Women’s Pewter Plate

Monday 20 July 2015

The Castle Hill pairing of Betty Pankhurst (33) and Jacqueline Bowen (33) have taken out the 2015 Women’s Pewter Plate today at Pymble GC. Betty was the star of the team having one of the best scores of the day with 37 stableford points, contributing towards the team total of 63 points.

In second place was the Belmont pairing of Marilyn Scott (34) and Janice Gardner (34) who had 27 and 36 points respectively to also post a team total of 63 points, but unfortunately lost on a countback.

For the individual prizes today the winner was Oatlands’ Jenny Park (35) who had an exceptional score of 38 points, which was a great effort considering the difficulty of the course today. The runner up in the individual competition was North Ryde’s Marcia Anderson (34) with a score of 31 points on a countback.

Golf NSW is extremely grateful for the effort put in by Pymble GC to provide an exceptional venue for this popular event and look forward to Castle Hill CC hosting this prestigious event in 2016. For final scores including individual and team scores click on the link below:
