Australian Women&aposs Mid-Amateur Championship Two-time former champion Sue Wooster (VIC) holds a three stroke lead after the opening round of the Australian Women&aposs Mid-Amateur Championship at Moonah Links Golf Club after the first round was abandoned on Wednesday due to poor weather. Wooster shot a first round 80 to lead Katrina Jones (QLD) by three. Kerry Henningsen (VIC) and Tracey Carter (VIC) are in third and fourth place respectively. The final round begins on Friday. Australian Men&aposs Mid-Amateur Championship Damien Jordan (QLD) shot an opening round 73 to lead the Australian Men&aposs Mid-Amateur Championship by one stroke after the first round at Moonah Links Golf Club. Four-time former champion Jason Perry (VIC) is one stroke behind Jordan, tied with Jason Cocks (SA) and Paul Patterson (WA) in second place. The final round begins on Friday. The Australian Men&aposs and Women&aposs Mid Amateur Championships have been played since 2007.
