Golf Queensland Club Support Workshops
Club Support workshops are free, short training sessions delivered across the State by Club Support Consultants in a range of specific areas. The sessions will develop your skills, improve your knowledge and ultimately help you develop your club. Sessions are specifically for sports clubs and will give you the opportunity to learn from other peoples’ experiences, working smart together. They are for groups of at least 4 clubs and build upon the content of the Golf Australia online resources, but also include case studies, topical issues and a discussion section.
The workshops typically last approximately 2 hours and like all Club Support workshops are open to anyone involved in the running of their golf club. We encourage more than one person from a club to attend so that knowledge and business skills can be shared within their club. See a full list of workshop dates and how to register below.
Building Active Communities Workshop
Golf clubs can also use the Building Active Communities Workshop program run by the Queensland Department of Sport & Recreation. This program provides free workshops to increase the skills and knowledge of community sport and recreation volunteers such as committee members, coaches, team managers, officials and administrators.
Duration
Most workshops run for 3 hours in the evening from 6pm to 9pm on a week night or on a Saturday morning.
Cost
All workshops are free.
