Younger no bunny at Mandurah Easter Amateur

By Alistair Hogg National Squad member Josh Younger has won the Mandurah Easter Amateur Open by two strokes from team mate and Australian Amateur Champion, Rohan Blizard. The Victorian set up the win with back-to-back rounds of 68 and held on to beat Blizard and Ashley Umbers who finished third. It was one of Younger&aposs strongest performances of the year and comes just two weeks after he qualified for the match play component of the 2007 Australian Amateur Championships. He was ousted by Blizard in the first round so it was a case of getting one back over his team mate at Mandurah! Matthew Giles was fourth, one shot ahead of Australian Amateur Stroke Play Champion, Andrew Dodt. Younger now heads to Adelaide and will be hoping to carry his hot form into this week&aposs SAGA Invitational at Royal Adelaide beginning Thursday.
