Your ticket to a sport for life

Swing Fit, the fun, healthy and social way for women to get started in golf, is the ‘thing to do’ in Sydney this November, and can be enjoyed alongside the world’s best golfers!

Come-and-try sessions are being held during the upcoming Emirates Australian Open and are open to any female who is new to golf and wants to give it a go.

You’ll learn the basics of golf in a very social, relaxed and fun way, whilst getting your whole body moving through yoga and Pilates style conditioning and movement exercises. You’ll also learn how to hit the ball and sink those putts!

Swing Fit has been developed to provide what women want from golf – an experience that focuses on health and fitness in a social environment. And, better still, rather than slogging away in a claustrophobic gym, you are outside in a beautiful and natural environment.

Free Swing Fit sessions will be held at:

  • Marrickville Golf Club, Marrickville – Saturday 18th November at 4:00pm
  • Bardwell Valley Golf Club, Bardwell Valley – Tuesday 21st November at 1.30pm
  • Randwick Golf Club, Malabar – Wednesday 22nd November at 1.30pm
  • Eastlakes Golf Club, Daceyville – Friday 24th November at 1:00pm
  • Eastlakes Golf Club, Saturday 25th November at 1:00pm

Moore Park Golf Range, Cleveland also run sessions on Saturdays throughout the year at 1:30pm for $40.00.

Registration includes a free ticket to the Emirates Australian Open at The Australian Golf Club, so participants can enjoy watching the world’s best golfers such as Jason Day and Jordan Spieth after their session!

“You don’t need any golf knowledge or equipment, simply turn up in your active wear and have a go!” suggests Serrin Bertino, Golf Australia’s female participation co-ordinator.
“This is a fantastic, free way to try a sport that you might just love for the rest of your life”.
