Armani Marsters from Murray Bridge Golf Club has taken out the girls Junior Sand Greens Championships while Liam Zeller from Stansbury Golf Club claimed the boys title for the second year running.
The Championship played in perfect conditions on 4 & 5 May over 36 holes was once again staged at the Yankalilla Golf Club situated on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Playing off a handicap of 5, Zeller posted two solid rounds of 72,67 (139) to finish one stroke ahead of Cameron Bickley from Willunga GC and Justin Woods from Barossa Valley GC.
Mitchell Hawthorne from Pinnaroo Golf Club playing off a handicap of 8 won the boys net aggregate event with a score of (128).
In the Girls Championship, Marsters, who was runner up last year, claimed the title posting rounds of 85 & 80 for a 36 hole total of 165.
Marsters finished 9 strokes ahead of Amber Evers from Tanunda Pines (174).
Charlotte Tassell from Sandy Creek Golf Club playing off a handicap of 22 won the girls net aggregate event with a score of (135).
The Teams event was won by the Southern District, represented by players, Cameron Bickley, Thomas Gough, Alex Gough and Jess Arthur.
