The Bendigo District No. 2 team has defeated Kingswood Golf Club to win the Golf Victoria Junior Pennant for 2012. Beautiful conditions greeted all players at Latrobe Golf Club,with what was an exciting conclusion to the 2012 season with the 18-hole final on Sunday 16 December.
Both teams were tied at two wins a piece as the final two matches were all square through regulation play. In a nail-biting finale, Bendigo won both the remaining matches on the 19th hole to take the flag. Four clubs from the regional Victorian town were represented in the team of Kristi Bilkie, Tahlia Holmberg, Billy Caulfield, Kurtis Lynch, Alex Gorrie, Zayne Rowe and Riley Hocking. Congratulations are extended to all teams that participated in the 2012 competition.
