Golf Australia’s 2016 national squads will be announced in November.
High performance director Brad James said the selection criteria and benchmarks would not change this year.
But the current squad either has, or is about to, change substantially with several men contemplating a move to professional ranks.
Taylor Macdonald has already turned pro, while Jarryd Felton and Antonio Murdaca are at European Tour Qualifying School and will turn pro unless they win the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship in Hong Kong in October.
The current squad is Lucas Herbert (tier 1), Hannah Green, Ryan Ruffels, Brett Coletta, Cameron Davis, Felton and Murdaca (all tier 2). The junior squad members are Becky Kay and Zach Murray.
