Metropolitan Pennants – Women’s A1 round 3 results

Royal Adelaide&aposs Caitlin Roberts halved her match in the third round of Women&aposs A1 Royal Adelaide remain top of the Women&aposs A1 Pennant table following an impressive 3 1/2 to 1 1/2 win over Kooyonga. In other round three matches, Grange defeated Blackwood and Glenelg defeated Golf SA Fringe. For Royal Adelaide, Jill McEwin, Megan Bleeze and Jovanna Bozanic all recorded solid wins while Caitlin Roberts played out a hard fought squared match against Lyn McGough. In the contests top match, Emma Ash recorded an impressive win against fellow state rep and 2011 Golf SA Women&aposs Amateur champion Sarah King. For Grange, Cassidy Evreniadis, Kristalle Blum, Jean Foo and Louise Glennon were all victorious, which Cassandra Wee squared her match with Blackwood&aposs Lorry Brown. The closest match of the round came in the contest between Glenelg and the Golf SA Fringe team, with Glenelg triumphant 3 – 2 thanks to victories to Elysia Yap, Sophie James and Jenny Lee. Next week&aposs round four matches at Glenelg see the hosts taking on The Grange, Royal Adelaide playing Blackwood and Kooyonga playing Golf SA Fringe.
