Australian pair Unho Park and Adam Groom have a big task ahead of them if they intend to unseat Bangladeshi Mohammad Siddikur from the lead on the final day of the Indian Open. Park and Groom finished day three in a share of sixth position on 10 under – some seven strokes shy of runaway leader Siddikur. Siddikur had another impressive round at the Delhi Golf Club on Saturday, backing up his pair of 66s to begin the tournament by carding a five-under 67 to be 17 under overall – four shots clear of his nearest rival SSP Chowarasia of India (13 under). The Bangladeshi put on a faultless display on the third day with his scorecard featuring no bogeys and five birdies to put himself in prime position to clinch the title on Sunday. Park had a far better time of it than Groom, storming up the leaderboard from equal 21st at the start of the day courtesy of a blistering seven-under 65 which was the equal best third round. Park also put on a flawless display which contained seven birdies while Groom could only muster a two-under 70 that saw him slip from outright fourth. Second-placed Chowarasia is immediately followed by fellow countryman Rashid Khan and Filipino Angelo Que, who are both 12 under in a share of third spot, while another Indian Anirban Lahiri is sole owner of fifth position on 11 under. Jake Higginbottom and Scott Barr are the next best Australians on six under in equal 12th spot.
