Denis Dale wins 2014 Men’s Senior Order of Merit

Denis Dale of Twin Creeks Golf Club has claimed his 8th Golf NSW Senior Order of Merit Trophy (6th in a row) edging out Greg Stanford of Mona Vale Golf Club who finished runner-up. Dale finished with an impressive 1940 points, claiming five victories throughout the year including back-to-back wins at Port Kembla and Camden. Despite notching up an impressive seven wins, Stanford was unable to catch Dale, finishing 100 points back with 1840 points. Also having a great season was David Limbach of Penrith who finished in 3rd with 1815 points (despite being unable to play the final event at Cromer due to illness).

In the overs 65’s section, Denis Dale was the outright winner over Tom Yates of Bexley Golf Club in second place and Paul Day of Kooindah Waters in third.

The final event of the 2014 calendar took place at Cromer Golf Club. At the conclusion of play the Order of Merit results were announced and prizewinners were presented with their medals.
